2.1 FinChat Website (usefinchat.app)

2.2 FinChat Mobile App
The FinChat mobile application does not use cookies (as cookies are a web browser technology). However, the app does use similar technologies for essential functionality:
- Secure token storage: Authentication tokens are stored securely using your device's platform secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) to keep you signed in
- Local preferences: App settings and preferences are stored locally using AsyncStorage to remember your choices
- Encrypted local cache: Financial data is cached locally using an encrypted SQLite database for faster loading and offline access
None of these technologies are used for advertising or tracking purposes.
3. Third-Party Cookies
We do not allow third-party advertising or analytics cookies on our website or in our app. Our third-party service providers (such as Clerk for authentication) may set essential cookies when you interact with their services, but only as strictly necessary for functionality.

Since we do not currently use cookies on our website, there are no cookies to manage. If this changes in the future, we will provide a cookie consent mechanism allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
